Glide 40 wt Quilting Thread

Glide 40 wt is Lori's signature quilting thread and the thread she reaches for most often. Made from trilobal polyester, it has a beautiful sheen that catches the light and subtly reflects the colours of the fabrics around it.

That reflective quality helps a single thread colour blend beautifully across a wide variety of fabrics while still allowing the quilting design to shine. Glide also delivers smooth stitching, low lint and dependable performance on both domestic and longarm machines.

Lori's Pro Tip

One of the things I love most about Glide is the way its trilobal sheen takes on the colours around it. A thread that looks distinct on the cone can blend surprisingly well across an entire quilt.

Recommended needle: Size 90/14 topstitch or quilting needle for most quilting projects.
