Achieve Crisp, Flat Seams
A quilting clapper is one of the simplest tools for improving piecing accuracy.
After pressing a seam, place the Bloodwood Clapper directly on the warm fabric. The dense hardwood absorbs heat and moisture as the seam cools, helping to create flatter seams, sharper points, and more precise quilt blocks.
Why Bloodwood?
Unlike many clappers made from lighter hardwoods, Bloodwood is approximately 50% heavier than maple. This allows for exceptional pressing performance while remaining comfortable to use.
Available Sizes
12" Clapper
Perfect for quilt seams, borders, and long pressing sections.
12" Square Clapper
Ideal for larger blocks and foundation paper piecing.
