Glide 40 wt trilobal polyester quilting thread in 10WG1 Linen is one of the most popular colours in the entire Glide Thread collection and one of the most versatile warm neutrals you can own. It has creamy beige with natural undertones. A soft natural beige that is warmer and deeper than Bone but lighter and less golden than Wheat. It is especially useful for low-volume quilts, linen-look fabrics, cream backgrounds, warm neutrals, traditional quilts and subtle all-over quilting. The 5000 m King Cone is designed for longarmers, professional quilters and frequent machine quilters who need smooth, consistent stitching with minimal lint.

Choose Linen when Cream feels too creamy and Wheat too golden. Also audition Pearl for a lighter luminous neutral or Latte for a warmer, slightly deeper effect. One of the first cones I reach for because it quietly blends across an exceptional range of warm neutrals. It is one of my signature Glide colours, one of my go-to colours, and an excellent blender across mixed fabrics.
