Glide Light Grey is a clean, clearly grey neutral with a slight blue cast. It sits between the palest blue-greys and Cool Grey 3 in visual strength, making it useful for silver prints, cool neutrals, modern quilts and subtle all-over quilting.

Lori's Recommendation

I recommend Light Grey when Seagull disappears into the fabrics but Cool Grey 3 feels a little too prominent. It gives enough grey definition to be visible without becoming a feature colour. Compare it with Mercury when the quilt contains more blue, and with Smoke when you need a deeper, smokier line. Light Grey is also available in a matching cone and M bobbin jar set for projects where a coordinated bobbin is helpful.
