Tar Heel is one of my favourite blues because of its versatility. It has enough richness to blend into darker fabrics while still working beautifully on medium blues. I reach for it surprisingly often, and it's usually one of the first colours I audition whenever a quilt sits between Denim and Navy. I reach for Tar Heel surprisingly often because it sits beautifully between medium and dark blues. It is one of my go-to colours. It is especially effective on denim and indigo fabrics.
